"Hello!" Karyn shouted to Kelli, her younger sister by two years. Her normal red hair had pink highlights running through it and she was dressed in athletic shoes and running shorts. She looked at the witch doll who was jumping on the balcony with shocked eyes.
"Karyn." She asked. "Is Jon in there with you?"
The witch doll heard the raggedy Ann protest again weakly. "Yes, she is." Karyn said with emphasis. As Kelli giggled with a hand over her mouth, Karyn wondered how she knew about the dollhouse and its powers, until she remembered that the stone made it so other people remembered wishes as if they were truth. To Kelli, Karyn had owned the dollhouse for a few years now.
"What's he -- she, I mean, What's she look like?"
"Like Raggedy Ann." Kelli reached out and wrapped her real flesh hands about Karyn's plush body, squeezing the stuffing inward a little. The little doll didn't even squirm as she was picked up off the balcony, but rested comfortably in the person's hand, as a good doll should.
"So, little Bug, do you want to come in and see him?" Kelli pointed a finger at her doll sister.
"We had an agreement that you can't call me Bug when you're a doll." She tried to look angry, but still quirked a smile.
"So go get your doll and come inside." Karyn beamed. Kelli bit her lip and thought about what to do next . . .
