Now that I had this clue, I could use it. I called up Mary from Clan Ghost. I told her everything I knew about 05-001 and 10-001. "I think they may be coming your way at some point. You need to keep the human members closer to the base to protect them." Mary said "They already hit us a couple of days ago. Our human members are in critical condition, but we were able to rescue them. They got sniped from somewhere. We had no clue why anyone would do this." I nodded and said "Make sure you monitor them. As soon as they realize they are still alive and part of the clan, they will return to finish the job." Mary paused a moment. "Brianne. Thank you for the crucial information." she said before hanging up. I called up the Advocate factions and told them the same things. 10-001 and 05-001 were careful not to attack them directly. At least not violently. A strongly worded letter made its way to the HQ of Heat Clan. Obviously, they sent it straight to the trash where it belonged. They all said they would keep on the lookout for them and take extra steps to keep their human clan members safe.
I was walking when I bumped into someone. I fell back on my butt and looked up at them. They looked very angry at me. "I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention!" slipped out before I could even think about it. Looking at him, I saw that he was yet another AEP unit. Volition Clan had 3, and I saw them all at their gym. This one had to be from local transmission hub's Void Clan. Cool. "Do you know where Volition Volleyball and Fitness is?" the cyborg asked me. I nodded and said "I can help you out." We then escorted the AEP unit to the gym. He furrowed his eyes looking at me. "Are these guys your friends?" he asked, gesturing to the PEP units in my party. "Yes. We've been through so much together." I said. he looked annoyed. Instead of talking to me, he barged into the gym and slammed a fist on the reception desk. The leader of the clan was there this time. He looked shocked. "You have some nerve over here! If you think that you can go fraternizing with other clan's AEP units, you have another thing coming!" he growled. The leader stood up looked around. He clearly saw me when I waved.
He looked back at the Void Clan AEP and said "I get it. Can we take it easy!? There are humans around." The AEP unit looked at me again. "Why is a human so friendly with your gym members anyway!?" he demanded. Both the clan leader and I looked at the unit in surprise. I said "I'm sorry. I thought that you knew already. I am the clan engineer of PBJ Clan. Nice to meet you." It was his turn to look shocked. "A human engineer!? What type of clan is that?" he snapped. "A surprisingly resilient one." the clan leader said, looking at me. I explained that we were allies from before the Next Stage. "We were even working together at Location C." I added. The AEP unit was pissed off now. "You are going to stop it now! We won't let you ally with a human led clan." he said. I looked at him and said "You can't do that. I am not a baby like you. I know exactly how you came to be. I doubt your sires even came from the area. There isn't any Locations near here either. You have no right!" "Oh yeah. Try me!" The cyborg said. I looked around because it was a bluff. The 13 clans were regional leaders.
