Jon had pointed his finger at the page, he was ready to swap bodies with a video game character, and the one he had settled on was Master Chief from the Halo franchise. His reasoning being was that it would be kick ass to be a genetically engineered super-strong soldier for a while. Karyn always beat him at Halo and shed be so jealous of him if he turned up as the chief at her doorstep one day.

He pointed his finger at the page and spoke, "give me that body"

In a split second, he had done it. Jon had changed from his regular 18 year old self to the spitting image of the muscle laden super soldier. The first giveaway was the fact that he could no longer see his room except through a filter. The filter was actually the visor on his new helmet, with a holographic HUD displaying critical data over the objects in his room as if they were being identified as threats.

Jon down at himself and could see he was now clad in the Hazardous MJOLNIR Mark V armour that was iconic to the character as much as Samus' power armour or Gordon Freeman's HEV suit were to them. Feeling himself down, he could barely feel the contours of the suit over his body as the thick, almost skin-tight gloves shielded his hands from anything.

Jon looked over at the mirror near his window and saw the person that was that was staring back at him, or at least making a reasonable attempt to stare back at him. Jon was looking at his armour from the outside. He really did look like Master Chief. Although he wasn't really certain that he knew what he'd look like under the armour considering no one has seen the chief's face or described it. But Jon didn't have an idea how to remove the armour even if he wanted to see his face. Apparently the character designers didn't think to include that feature for the cut scenes.

It was strange; he swept his arm through the air experimentally and was amazed as his reflexes and the feeling of the movement. It was like he didn't even move his arm, he just thought it and it happened faster then he could perceive. That would take a bit of getting used to

Jon reckoned that the suit could easily withstand severe impacts to his new body but he didn't really want to test it by walking into highway traffic or did he?

Jon decided that he may as well enjoy the swap for the time being and get some answers. He went over to his desk and turned on his PC. While waiting for his PC to boot, he took a look at his wallet, opening it up to check his driver's license. After fumbling with the almost "delicate" wallet and his newfound reflexes, he managed to extract his driver's license.

It seems that his identity was still his own, He was Jon Gibson, an 18 year old MALE with 7', but it had no other details, even the photo was of him in his MJOLNIR armour! So while Jon was obviously in the body of a Master Chief look alike, the real world still referred to him as Jon and treated him as a member of the Gibson family.

After the PC booted, a quick Google search showed that Master Chief was still the male hero of the Halo and not a teenage boy. So to Jon that seemed to indicate swapping with photos would not be the same as swapping with a person.

Jon looked around his room; it didn't seem that much different. However, a quick examination of his wardrobe seemed to show that it was packed with a several variants of the MJOLNIR armour and even a medical jumpsuit. Obviously when he switched bodies, he switched wardrobes with Master Chief's photo too, and that seemed to include all the clothes that he wore in any of his in-game appearances.

Jon didn't know what to do next though.
