Jon picked up the latest copy of PC Power Play magazine; it was a gaming magazine that he collected on occasion simply to try out the demos of any new games on it that would be worth actually buying. These days though, with high school nearly finishing, there wasn't much time for games these days, mainly girls and getting drunk when your folks weren't around.
In any case, the magazine was practically brand new when Jon took it from the bookshelf.
There was a wide range of articles to choose from, from actual game characters to game developers and their families or even photos of the last few E3s before it went downhill and fell into a booth-babe free zone. Plenty of images that he could test the power with.
Jon settled on one image in particular, however, the book was a little new still and the spine hadn't been broken in properly, so he had to hold the page open with a paperweight from his desk before he could cast his swap spell.
