There were things we had to do. Since I entered the guild into our ranks, they were also humans in the PEP clan. I told Paul about it. He sighed and said "Fine. Let's go now. Micropolis is nearby, right?" I nodded and we got into a car. We drove over and he went over and spawned in a small building. There was a lobby with a receptionist desk and a pair of meeting rooms beyond it. At the end of the hallway was a lounge and a stairwell leading down. It was pretty steep and led to a pair of doors on either side. On the right side was a row of 10 terminals with all the highest tech setups. On the left side was a large armory with the excess supply of our guns and equipment. I was really impressed. Paul said "I'll make sure to put a sensor that stops AEP and PEA units from coming in. They will have to enter a code or be forced to leave." That actually was a great idea. When it was done, I called Chad and the guild over. They joined as they were able to. I looked at Chad. "You are now the new receptionist of our new intelligence office." I told him. He looked neutral on it. The guild was all ecstatic.

I had to break the news about the transmission hubs and the hostile AEP units. They looked concerned. "Too late for any whining. You reached out to us, not the other way around. I have a job for you, and you're going to get to it right now." Paul said. He did not care about their safety. He made the building secure. That was all he was doing for them. He told them that he wanted to know where 10-001 and 05-001 had their clan base. "You said that they can shapeshift at will, right? How are we going to find cyborgs like that? It's near impossible unless they screw up." Volt said. Amp nodded her head. "All this info is obviously off limits to the larger public. They definitely will try coming for us now that we know. It's going to take a long time to find anything." she said. Syrios cleared his throat. "What we mean is that we're going to give it our best, but we're going to need some money. Greasing palms, gaining access, bribes. You know." Paul rolled his eyes and gave them each 10 million credits. "Now I definitely don't want to hear any complaining. Get to work!" he snapped before leaving.

Everything was getting intense. The clan the sent the AEP units after us were genocidal. Who knew what they would do next!? I was walking to the car with Paul when a pair of people called out to me. I looked around and saw that it was Liam and Vince. They were waving to me. Paul tilted his head over to them. "You know those kids or something?" he asked. I nodded and said "Yeah. They do gymnastics with my kids." I walked over to them and said hello. They looked really happy to see me. "Is Ashton and Riley with you!?" Liam asked me. "Or Corey or Kendall!?" Vince added. I shook my head. "No. I was visiting some friends here. I'm going home now." Liam asked "I think they can come to our house to hang out. Can they come?" Vince nodded in agreement. I sighed and said "I'll have to think about it guys. Maybe if I can talk to your parents one day." They frowned, but they did not say anything else as I began to walk away from them. Paul chuckled at me. "I didn't know you guys were friends with drug mules." I rolled my eyes. "Don't say that. This is a bad town, but they're nice." I said.
