I looked at him and said "What the fuck do you guys want then!? You found out the secret. Have none of you thought that we would kill to keep it? This Syrios guy is playing a dangerous game with your lives." I was bluffing at this point. Something told me killing this guy would lead to problems in the future. The guy trembled. "Syrios is our leader. He thought it would be a funny prank. That's it!" he said. I did not believe that for a second. It might be what this guy heard from Syrios, but he had to be planning something. "Syrios gave me 4 addresses. Who are they?" I asked as I showed him my phone. "The first one is mine. My name is Volt by the way. Amp is the next one. She's nice so don't hurt her!" he snapped. I just rolled my eyes. "Keep going!" I snapped. "O-okay! Geez! The next one is Arc. She's our best hacker. The last one is Syrios." "What were you guys hoping to get out of this? It doesn't make sense to make contact and expect no response, even if it wouldn't be the guns blazing approach." Volt looked to the side. "We were joking that free cyborg sex would be cool."
That was all it came down to at the end, huh? I sighed and looked at Chad. "Do you want to have sex with Volt, Chad?" I asked. Both other looked surprised. "Volt here wants to fuck a PEP unit. You're here right now. If you don't want to, that's totally acceptable. I won't force you into anything you don't want." I said. Chad looked at Volt and sighed. "Sure, why not?" he said. Volt cringed and said "No thanks. I'm straight. Male cyborgs don't do it for me at all." I shrugged. "Well, that was your only chance to fuck for free. We have to make the rounds." I made sure to get his number in my phone before we left. "See you later." Chad said. He just groaned as he walked us to the front door. Next up on the list was Amp. She was several blocks away. Her house was a classic white. We went in and found her laying down in her bed. She got up on her knees and said "Took you long enough. If I didn't hear it from Volt, I'd think you gave up." "Hey. What the fuck do you guys want?" I asked her. She smirked. "Fuck me first. We can talk about work then." I looked at Chad. He sighed and got undressed.
Amp
Once they were done, Chad pulled out and got his clothes. I sat on the edge of the bed as he got dressed again. "You had your fun now. Tell me. What the hell is Syrios planning over here? We went full SWAT mode on Volt. If he was the type to fight back during a home invasion, he'd be dead." I said seriously. She looked at me like I was joking. When she studied my face, she saw I was telling the truth. Her face fell. She said "It's nothing serious. We just wanted to see what dirt we could dig up. It just happened that it was pretty juicy this time." I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Let me get your number. If I need some dirt on some people, I'll contact you." I said. I got the number and we left her house. We had another member's house to go to. Arc's house was not too far from Amp. When we got there, she was longing on her couch. "I'm next, huh? Let's get to it then." I said "Hold up. I need information first. What the fuck is Syrios planning?" She shrugged. "I don't know. He was just really excited when he told us about the plan. He didn't even let us know about the call." It was Chad's turn.
Arc
When that was over, I said "Was the decision to look into me from him or someone else?" I asked. She looked lost in thought for a moment. "I think it was him. Then again, we are a guild that gets hired all the time. You'd have to ask him about that." she said. I sighed. At least I was making progress. We left her house there and then. I did Syrios's address was on the outskirts of town. It was not really a house at all. It was more of a large run-down shack. Chad and I walked up to it. There were multiple large black wires going one way or the other. When we got inside, we could see Syrios. "Why are you fucking with me!?" I snapped as I aimed my gun at him. "It was just for fun. Don't worry about it." he said. He did not look worried at all. I glared at him. "Who started this? Was it you, or were you hired to dive and gather information about me?" "Nah. It was all me." he said. Syrios was an NPC like all the others in the guild. I just sighed. "What the fuck do you even want? I was only in town for a few minutes before leaving. I didn't even leave the van, man!" He slipped off his pants. Chad was up.
