Sunny and Lucy were pissed off. Both of them found me when I was in the new rock garden. They looked murderous as they dragged their AEP unit children by the arms down the hallway towards me. "Are you trying to make fun of us!? This is not a humorous joke!" Lucy demanded. I had no clue what they were talking about. I tried to calm them down, but they were too angry. "I honestly thought better of you, Brianne." Sunny said. "Wait a minute! I really don't know what I did to make you 2 so upset. I am sorry though." I backed down. They looked at each other with shocked expressions on their face. "I can't believe we were given over to an idiot." Lucy sighed as she shook her head. "The only thing he's good for is fighting and breeding." Sunny agreed. "I think those are actually really good qualities for the engineer of a PEP clan to have." I said in self-defense. They both just looked at me again. "You know how us PEP units feel about tattoos and piercings. Why did you make it so our children are the only ones that have tattoos!?" Lucy said in anger. I had to answer them really carefully.

Nolan and Ava also had piercings, but Caleb and Cameron both had womb tattoos. "I wanted to prove something. Everyone here shuns and hates you even when you're probably the best in the clan. Even the transmission hub is not giving you many missions these days because of me. I'm so sorry for that. I want to prove that even if a cyborg has piercings or tattoos, they can still contribute and be great assets to any clan. I thought you would be flattered, but I should have asked you first. Sorry." I explained. With my explanation out in the open, they looked confused. "We don't care about that. They are right to be suspicious of us." Sunny said. "Deviants could be very dangerous." Lucy added. "That's wrong! You're not deviants. I know you're not!" I snapped at them. The outburst made them pause. "I care about you. We have kids together. I want to protect you. That's why I got you the X-frame upgrades. You deserved them." I said. Lucy sighed. "Be that as it may, do not take it upon yourself to give our other children tattoos or piercings. That is a firm boundary you can't cross." she said.

Having them around would be interesting. Especially if that was how they were going to be walking around from now on. I looked at our new recruit and just pat him on the shoulder. He looked both confused and uncomfy. I chuckled and said "I know. I'm just messing with you." 0911 was named Chad now. He was fine with his name. I decided that to break the ice, I should take him out. All of the clan PEP units had a welcoming party. He was not getting an X-frame any time soon, but he could still have fun being here. I knew the perfect place. We went on the street level and I told him we were going to a restaurant. PEP units did not actually need to eat any food. He was surprised that we were going. First I had to take him go get some regular clothes. That was easy as there was a clothing store near the restaurant. They got jeans and a black t-shirt. It did not need to be too fancy. I explained as we sat down at a table what we were getting. Lemonade got them excited. Sugar water was a major intoxicant for the PEP units, so drinking was a pastime, and they could join us humans.
