It made sense. We filled them in on the "Next Stage." I gave them the new upgrades. Thankfully, they were unisex. Even if the best of the best were chosen, it was really first come, first served when it came to the operation of the Foundry. They were able to install them manually and all were pretty happy with themselves. Claudette took the XF-10F. Jessica was operating her XF-02F. That made for some very interesting dynamics. Alex, Alexis, Sunny and Lucy all had the XF-06Mx. Ryder, Claire, Rosalyn and Claudette had the XF-10F. Sparks, Katie and Finian had the XF-09M. Maroon, Orange, Jessica, Erin and Cecil had the XF-02. That's 16. Even with those numbers there was still a mismatch. there were only 7 male model X-frames. That meant some of them would need to do double duty. I gave the honor to Alex and Alexis. They had been with us from the very beginning, and I still remember that they were the reason we got the special X-frame in the first place. They looked really pleased to be given the honor. Paul and Brett were also happy with the choice I made for them all here.

That was yet another thing they could delegate while they had fun. I then said "Since you have the honor as the most senior male members, it only makes sense that the second pairing will be with Claudette and Jessica as the most junior female members." They all looked at each other before nodding. "Other than that, you should pair with whoever you feel most comfortable with." I said. Paul and Brett were also there. "Where should we go?" Alex asked. I took a map and went over to the archipelago. I pointed out the Plan A location. This was chosen by the transmission hub as the best place for the X-frames to gather together. It will be a huge hassle to get there. This makes it a great place to spawn in AEP units. I then pointed at Location C. It was Ghost Town. "This is the place I got to choose." I told them before launching into a lore dump about the anarchic city. Brett looked at me and just shrugged. "You said you wanted me to go ahead. Why?" he asked. "That way we can have a private area for us and still be close enough to help the units over there if something goes wrong there."

My plan was simple. The Devils could spawn buildings in at will. That was why they had settled in Dwan Town in the first place. "How will we get there?" Sparks asked. It was going to be cool. "We fly in." Well, just them in their big X-frames. It was a private city, so there were no cops to cause problems for us. If they came under cover of darkness, no one would know at all. Financing the trip was no joke, the librarians came to us with a large bill. I knew I boasted the clan can pay, but it was ridiculous. We literally had unlimited resources, so it was not a problem for us though. They wanted 8 of our archwings. I guessed that with 4 locations, they were only going to put the 4 pairs most likely to make the trip. The other locations would have 3 pairs each. We had way more than that in reserves. Doing the math, they were also billing us for the cost of the X-frames that would be going. As for the non-cyborgs, we all needed to drive there ourselves. I told them that we would go first to make sure the hideout was safe before marking out a landing area with bright flares or something to guide them over.
