Sarah raced away from the Gibson house as fast as she could, she needed to figure out a way of finding the wishing stone and returning herself to normal but the situation did not look good. She couldn't communicate with anyone in any way, Jon had seen to that. Sarah figured that her best bet was "home", a familiar ground to plan her way to get back to Jon, but she knew there would be problems, namely that the McMillan family didn't have a pet, and the McMillan's had an eldest daughter, Nikita.

Sarah's only hope now was her doppelganger, and she wished that she knew how this would work out.

Sarah looked around she couldn't read the street signs, so she simply had to go by familiar markings to find her way home. Racing down street after street, taking turn after turn, she did something better then get home, she ran into the one person she was after the most, Nikita.

Nikita McMillan was still jogging home after waking up spontaneously in Jon's apartment. She didn't remember how she got there anything that happened during the day. While Jon's wish swapped the minds of everyone so that they believe Nikita was Sarah in their memories, as far as Nikita knew, all that happened today was she went to Jon's house early in the morning and fell asleep near his lounge chair. None of the body swapping or punishment was in her memory since she didn't experience those events. So effectively she was drawing a blank.

Nikita continued to ponder what was going on as she jogged home, trying to place why she would even go to Jon's house in the first place. Sure they were friends, as close as friends could be, and Nikita was good friends with Karyn too, but she was out jogging, why would she take a nap there?

Nikita was interrupted by the sound of something rattling and a lot of panting, turning around, she saw a very exhausted German Sheppard behind her, the unique shape of the animal and it's almost human like appearance immediately made sense to Nikita, she was Sarah, Jon's pet dog.

Nikita bent down and stroked Sarah's hair, "Hey there girl, did you get off your chain?"

Sarah barked fiercely, to Nikita it seemed like Sarah was quite determined.

"I dunno girl, I don't think Jon would like you running away like that", she said, petting Sarah's head, "Maybe we should take you back to him"

Sarah whimpered, Nikita realized that Sarah obviously didn't want to do that.

She shifted her hand to under Sarah's chin and gently stroked, "What's wrong girl? Did Jon do something nasty to you?" Nikita could feel Sarah quivering, "Whatever he did, it's really got you spooked, hasn't it"

Sarah barked again, Please help me! she thought.

Nikita reached down to Sarah's back and shoulders, gently feeling them up, "Wow girl, you really are tense, aren't you? Something's got you stressed out", Nikita withdrew her hands and stood up.

"Come on girl", Nikita said, starting to walk away, "If you don't want to go back to Jon's, we'll have to figure out what to do with you"

Sarah followed Nikita; they headed home to Sarah's old house. Sarah saw that nothing had changed, the house was the same old house, Biff's car was parked out the front still too, and that meant that he had to be over.

"Oh wow girl", Nikita commented as they walked past the car, "Biff's home! I can't wait"

Sarah growled a little, Biff was her boyfriend, not Nikita's. However, she carried on. The two of them climbed up the stairs to the front door. Nikita stopped and bent down, whispering to Sarah.

"Sar, I'm not supposed to have a pet, so keep it quiet, ok?" Nikita whispered.

Nikita stood up and opened the door, she whispered to Sarah, "Say there until I say so"

Nikita peered into the doorway, her parent's weren't anywhere near the door so Nikita swung it wide open for Sarah.

"Come on girl, Come on!" Nikita said quickly, ushering Sarah into the house. Sarah raced in and Nikita quickly closed the door behind her.

Nikita climbed up the stairs and Sarah followed closely behind towards familiar bedroom. Even though no-one considered it hers anymore, Sarah was very much relieved to be in a familiar place again, even as a stranger or more technically 'a stray'.

Nikita opened the door to her bedroom and walked inside, Sarah remained at the doorway waiting for Nikita to invite her in. At this stage, she really didn't want to get on Nikita's bad side and get returned to Jon. Although Sarah was surprised that Jon hadn't actually wished for her to return to his house yet.

"Biff", Sarah heard Nikita call out joyously, "I've missed you so much"

Sarah crept in towards the door, peering through to see her former boyfriend and Nikita embracing each other. Nikita was smothering Biff with her face and he wasn't too exactly fighting her off either. Sarah growled at the sight, but quickly clamped a muzzle on it to keep anyone from hearing her. However, it was too late. Nikita had heard Sarah's sound and broke contact with Biff.

"Biff, honey", Nikita said, EXACTLY the way Sarah used to, "I've got something to take care of. Can I catch up with you later?"

Biff shrugged, "Yea, I guess", he stroked Nikita's cheek with his hand, "Just don't be too long, we're all waiting for you at the bar"

Nikita smiled as Biff walked off, Sarah raced past the door and hid in her parent's bedroom while Biff walked out of Nikita's room and down the stairs. Once Biff had gone, Nikita poked her head out the door; she looked around and saw Sarah peering around the door jam of her parent's room.

"Come on girl, in here!" Nikita called out.

Sarah raced down the hall and into her old room, she was so grateful to be back. She couldn't help but race from object to object in her room, seeing her old dolls stacked on the bed, her diary sitting on the bedside table, all her shoes nice and neatly stacked up in the corner of the room. Nikita sat down on the bed and patted on the covers, gesturing for Sarah to join her.

Sarah leapt up on the bed and sat down, looking at Nikita. She'd gotten this far, but Sarah didn't exactly know how to proceed from here. How was she going to communicate with Nikita when no-one could hear anything she said anymore?

"So girl", Nikita said, "What's wrong with you?"
