With his greatly diminished prestige came problems. He was bullied and was given lowest priority for everything. Instead of the twins, I was the one that was constantly harrassed by alphas and betas for fights. I actually was the right size and had the correct amount of strength to choke out a beta. The alphas were a whole different story. If I was not thrown from their backs, the sleeper hold simply was not effective on them. They were way too strong for me. However, By defeating 3 betas before losing the first time to an alpha, I was not actually killed by the alpha. He did humiliate me by locking me in his coils as he moved around. "You're free to go when you break free." he said. Everyone saw me get dragged around by his thick green and blue tail. The nagas cheered him on and laughed at me. I was this alpha's trophy and he was treating me as such. He even offered to feed me like a baby in front of the whole tribe. I obviously declined. Going hungry was better than playing into his sick games. I had to wait when he was sleeping to escape him. I had to just hide with the twins.

Niseas and Nisephon got my food for me for 2 days in a row. On the third day, I left their tent. I thought it was fine and that they would have gotten over it. I was wrong about that. So very wrong. Several of the nagas still wanted to challenge me. I sighed. I could see that this was not going to end anytime soon. I took on 4 betas that day and there were still more waiting in the wings for a chance. It was a hassle, bit I still won all the fights and kept going with my day. I avoided the alphas at all costs. I was called a coward and a long list of human-related slurs for doing so. I did not care too much as I had a portal to catch. Staying here long term was not my goal. Our almost enslaved half-orc friend was also taking challenges. She had way more strength than me. After watching a few of my matches, she was able to take on the alpha that beat me. She left him a heap on the floor and stomped on his chest. She was a fighter. I was a rouge. We were not the same by any means. They respected her prowess in combat. They called me a cheater and a no-good thief. Word spread fast in the tribe.

I did not steal from them, so they did not kick me out or maim me. Every time I walked by the market, a warrior that was on guard duty was ready to tell my they would all laugh at me as the chief chopped my hands off if I stole anything from them. A second naga would follow me around. It was clear that they wanted to catch me doing something. This ragtag tribe was not worth my time. Besides, I was in my down time after the last heist. I could not even make the jewels and gold I stole liquid cash until things dies down and I I got back to my world. Another heist without putting things in order would only make it messy. There was also no way I could outrun the beasts even if I did steal from them. It simply was not humanly possible. It was the chief that declared the challenge period over. With all of our wins, he was looking bad as their leader. He could never live it down if another tribe of naga heard about this. With that being said, it was not a full ban. Nagas still came up to us, but only if they were confident, they could win. Which meant the alphas. I ignored them as they had no reason.
