Asha was so giddy and happy.

“Mother!” she called out in the darkness floating in excitement.

A dark… looming shadow appeared on an ancient wall. She stared into Asha. Slowly she began to take form, seeming to pour ‘out’ of the wall. She was taller then Asha, with the same red hide. The same horns but her wings.. her wings were huge. They seemed to expand at over ten feet away from her shoulders. “Little Asha,” she nodded. “Still doing buisness at the bar?”

“Yep! I think I got a good one this time.”

The figure didn’t look very impressed. “Hm.. of all my children you are the smallest… can’t you even ‘try’ to corrupt a soul a little bit?”

Asha blushed a bit and looked awkwardly. “It’s just I like humans being themselves. They are capable of so much…”

There was a mirthful chuckle at that. “I admit, you do have a point little Asha. There is something so very… satisfying of humans doing such things to themselves. So what delight have you provided?”

“A means for you to travel to a brand new world!”

“Oh?” The giant woman knelt down to the smaller demon. “Do tell me.. what is this world like?”

“From what I can tell, no magic… if we get there first, we could make it into an entire new demon realm!”

“… hm.. if we get there first. How will you provide the means for me to get there?”

“Already worked it out,” Asha replied happily. “I gave him the er.. Venus spell. As soon as he uses it… everything will be in place!” Quite literally really.

“Oh.. how delicious! Well done Asha… I best prepare… if this works out as you say… you will be greatly rewarded...” The demon retreated to the wall and dissapeared…

Dennis was home now. He kept on holding the strange scroll of magic.. was this going to work? Could he really give this.. this thing that shouldn’t exist.. could he give it the gift of life. Could he make it live?

He turned on his computer. He activated the computer program for a video game and could barely contain his excitement as he saw the online RPG game activate. He had his avatar arrive in a small quiet corner of the world. It was a nice view of a simulated moon. The game simulated the real life cycles of night and day which was actually quite a nice touch.

“She’s not on,” he muttered. Dennis knew she hated the game now for some reason- but this would change now. Now he coul have her forever…

Finally he saw her. The lovely elven maiden. She was.. so cute- it made his heart race as he watched her simulated motions. Her long blonde hair, those elven ears giving her a cat-like quality. The game didn’t exactly have the ability to do any ‘jiggle physics’ but if only it could happen. She was dressed in a light green dress, with a matching set of green eyes. She also wore delightful leather skinned boots. “Hi..” she messaged. Her name appeared over her head as it did with all the games. She was an elven sorcereress named Selina. “Look… I got yout message so came online. I told you I quit this game now.”

“Why? We had a good thing going!” he typed back furiously.

“It was just Roleplay..” the girl replied back. “What we had was an illusion. You need to get over it.”

Dennis gritted his teeth. How dare she.. just tell him it was all a lie! “Can you stay on for a bit at least?” He asked. He started to get out the scroll.

“...sure, just don’t be weird about it. I’m done with that.” Selina’s avatar turned to watch the moon. It was so.. weird how she did all that really. She was the best company he could ever want…

Dennis examined the scroll. “Just place it on the art you wish to come to life..” he repeated. He gently pressed it against the computer screen, making sure to center it on Selina.

The strange runes began to glow. There was a strange energy as it cascaded onto the computer making Dennis jump back. He wasn’t sure quite what happened. The electricity started to go completely nuts!

Somewhere.. far away, a man in his thirties was playing the video game. He lamented how complicated it was. Brian had a relatively quiet life. He enjoyed- well- he ‘used to’ enjoy playing his lovely elven sorcerer persona. There was always something about playing a female that drew him to the game. He tended.. not to give information about himself- perhaps because it helped the emersion. Though what happened- as it happened- well- every step he took seemed to take him deeper and deeper into something he became uncomfortable with.

“What’s wrong with this guy, I was just playing a game,” Brian sighed. What did he do that was so wrong? He was just playing a girl and it.. it somehow ended up messing with another guy’s feelings. He didn’t really know what to do except to just walk away and disapear… but he was also rather soft hearted. So getting that message that he wanted to see ‘her’ just one last time…

“I wish we could just go raid some goblins or something,” he thought.

Then his computer started to glitch and go weird. “huh?” he gasped as looked up at the light. Then he looked back at the screen. It seemed like the computer was just.. getting bigger? He looked startled as he tried to get up from his chair. “Ah!” he cried out. He was floating! He was just kicking in air as he started to shrink down.

Suddenly his entire body was just ‘pulled’ by a strange force. He braced himself as if he was about to impact the screen of his computer but he just went through it like a door with a distinct ‘pop’ sound.

.. and everything went dark.

Dennis wondered what happened. His computer was all black on the screen. The paper with the spell on it was now a charred mess. He looked at it fearing his gaming rig had been destroyed. However when he peeled back the paper… he saw a strange figure behind it. Selina the elf was there! “Oh.. wow!” he poked at her tapping the screen. “What do I do? where’s the game… Oh wait- the pointer still works!”

he poked at her.

Brian moaned as he felt something poke his body. Nothing felt right.. It felt like there was a weird weight on his head. Long locks of blonde hair fell before his eyes. “huh?” he stared at his hands. They were the hands of a girl.. and below that, breasts. She got up suddenly, in utter shock. “W-What! What happened! Where am I!”

“It worked! You’re alive!” he smiled.

“I’m..a… an elf!” she screamed. “Oh crap- I’m Selina!” she recognised the clothes now. “Where am I! Is anyone there?” Brian started to walk.. but ‘hit’ the edge of the screen. “Ow-” she walked back and forth.. seeming unable to quite move in the third dimension.

Dennis watched her. “Weird.. she can’t hear me. Oh! Maybe the microphone.” he quickly plugged it in. “Hey!”

Brian gasped. “Eek!” she cried. “W-What the- who’s there-”

“it’s me! Oh- I guess you never heard my voice. You knew me online as Joric. My real life name is Dennis.”

“Joric..” Brian gasped. “How am I even in this body right now!”

“What do you mean? I brought you to life! You probably just have your creators memories or something.” Dennis smiled. He started to poke her hair with the mouse.

“Stop that!” she shouted. “Get me out of here!”

Dennis chuckled. This was just so awesome for him. “Oh? How can I stop when you look so sexy like that,” Dennis smiled. “Now you can be on forever with me… Let’s see. Maybe I can make your suroundings a bit more interesting. I just need to minimise your window.. send you to another game- or maybe I can make a quick 3d room for you.”

dennis minimised her.

“Heeee” Selina felt herself get.. compacted. She wasn’t quite sure how to describe it. She couldn’t move.. couldn’t do anything. She tried to push against her prison again but she was ‘stuck’. Suddenly she felt herself being ‘pushed’ and all around her was.. a room. There was a weird surrealness to it. There were limited textures and everything was set very simply.

“Sorry I know it’s not very detailed. Best I could do in five minutes,” Dennis shrugged. “So… why don’t you take off your clothes. I always wanted to see you naked.”

Selina frowned. “Okay look- I didn’t want to say this before but I was a guy. I was just ‘playing’ a girl.”

Dennis stared at her. “Well, you played a girl so well. I’ve done you a favour. You must have really wanted this.”

“No I didn’t!” selina shouted. “I was just playing a game. You can’t… you can’t make me do stuff any more. I quit this game. I quit!”

Dennis quickly clicked and held the mouse against her lips.

“Mmmmph!” she tried to push against the pointer.

“Well.. let’s see… you’re a girl, a simulated girl… nobody knows anything about you, and you’re the perfect girlfriend I ever had. I know a thing or two about programming so I’m pretty sure I can.. make some adjustments to you.” Dennis started to get to work. First of all he had to work out what was actually making her ‘run.’ “Okay, I’m going to shut you down for a bit.”

“No- you can’t No!”

Click.. and she was gone. “Wow.. this is hot.” Dennis decompiled her and examined the program. It was.. huge. Most of it made no sense to him. Still could he maybe work out some way to.. manipulate her memories? Make her into his girlfriend?

There was a sudden flash of red. “Ha ha! Mortal! I have come to see- what the-” Asha looked very confused. “Okay- how come you are still here?”

Dennis was far too into looking at the program. “Oh hey Asha,” he said with a shrug. “Sorry can’t talk. Working on the perfect girlfriend.”

Asha stepped over at the strange glowing box. “What is.. this?”

“It’s a computer.”

Asha frowned. “Where’s the work of art? The statue, the painting.. the… pottery?”

“Oh. It was a computer program.” he pointed. “This.”

Asha stared at the text and words. It was a jumble that made no sense. “Wait a minute- did you make this work of art?”

“...technically- well- in actuality no.”

“Who did!”

“Damned if I know.” Dennis shrugged again. “She’s not quite fixed though… I need to tinker with her head a bit.”

The demon suddenly looked very shocked. “Oh Hell! Mother is going to kill me!” She placed her hands on her face. “That scroll was supposed to imprison you into your own work of art! You were supposed to end up a girl and become the vessel of my mother’s army upon your world! How is she supposed to invade anything! I’ve imprisoned an innocent soul in her own creation- the gods might come after me for that!”

Dennis glanced and gave a little smile. “Great doing buisness with you. I just got the perfect girlfriend so.. I’m quite happy with how things turned out. Maybe I’ll come by later.”

“ARGH!” Asha disaperaed in a puff of red smoke.
