Now inside, May led Ash to the far end of the home. There, the master bedroom awaited. While not normally a place for the coordinator to be, today was the one exception to that.
"I was thinking..." May started, waiting a moment for Ash to catch up. While the trainer wasn't that far behind, she wanted to make sure that he was right behind before giving her big spiel. That way, she would only have to give it once to her friend. A win-win on both of their parts. Or at least, in her mind. Whether or not Ash would actually be receptive to this remained to be seen. "You could dress up as my mom for a bit."
Ash's gaze swiveled over. There was no way that was what May had said. It couldn't be. His ears had to be playing some kind of cruel trick on him. Returning his focus back to the coordinator, he found his gaze met by a serious look.
"Are you sure?" Ash responded and got a nod from May in return. Opening the master bedroom door up, the room looked relatively normal for something that was supposed to be the biggest room in the whole house. The walls had been done up in floral wallpaper with the floors being left with regular carpet. The furniture was a similar story, May barely giving her mother-to-be little time to actually examine it before pulling him over to the closet. "Understood."
