Jon arrived at school and went and hid in a bathroom stall, this wouldn't do, what was going on. Luckily he had the coin ready to try and fix things with Karyn.
"I wish I was 16 again" he said holding the coin, there was a flash. Jon first noticed the toilet looked regular sized and he was back in his normal uniform. He left the stall... That was weird, the school embalm was slightly different, the design of the eagle was different.
He left to find Karyn, "Hi Jon" said a girl didn't recognise. "are you coming to French class?", she took Jons arm in a familiar fashion and dragged him to the class.
The teacher was Mrs Beaumont, a young teacher who had moved to America from France, but she looked odd, older somehow, also she looked about eight months pregnant, Jon felt sure she wasn't before.
I need to figure out what's happening, I cannot do that from here, "I wish I were sick with the flu and the school would send me home" Jon whispered into the coin, as a fever hit him.
Jon had passed out, he woke up in his own bed, his head ached and his throat was sore, but it appeared to be his own room, it looked mostly the same as he remembered. Had it all been a dream?
"Are you ok dear" it was his mother, "I've brought you some soup. Oh good Jon thought "Oh mum I had a terrible dream" he said as he says sitting up. "really dear, what was it about?" His mum said as she placed a tray on him lap and felt his sweaty forehead.
"Oh Karyn and Mikey" Jon croaked, "Oh don't worry Karyn is downstairs with the twins." His mother smiled, "Now get eat up and then get some sleep" she said. "twins?" Jon asked confused. "Yeah your nephews, don't forget they are two next week, I have a card for you to write when you are better I've left them next to the bed. I know they are to young to appreciate it but Mike and Karyn will like getting cards anyway I'm sure. Now get hurry up and eat, it's late." She said walking towards the door.
Oh no I thought, the wish made me 16 by moving me forward in time, no wonder I didn't recognise anyone at school.
