"Hi Mrs Merlin" Karyn said tears running down her face, "Hi Karyn, is everything ok?" Jons mum said concerned. Karyn and Jon had been friends since they were babies and she had felt responsible for her since her parents divorced five years ago. Karyn had changed a lot since the fragile 11 year old girl that used to sit watching cartoons and although she didn't agree with her fashion and the rumours were unflattering she still cared for Karyn like a daughter.
"Mums out tonight, can I stay here?" She said hoping that Jons mum in this reality knew enough about the situation and that they were still close.
"Sure sweety, I'll get the guest room made up" Jons mum said giving Karyn a hug "JON, Karyns staying, can she come up?", "Sure" Jon replied.
Karyn ran up to his room as Mrs Merlin found a spare nightie and gown and went about getting the guest room ready.
Mikey and Tommy watched through a crack in the door as Karyn walked up to Jons door and Knocked, she was so hot in her skinny jeggings and baggy sweater. "Thats it" said Mikey, "We will trade lives with Jon and then we will be then ones getting lucky with Karyn" he grinned. "Yeah said Tommy, I'm so fed up being 11 and being told I'll have to wait till I'm older" Tommy agreed. "it's settled then" Mickey said holding up the coin. "I wish that I was the 16 year old brother and Jon was the 11 year old brother and that Tommy was also 16 and we were both really hot and Karyn fancied us both. Also I wish Me and Tommy knew everything we need to about being 16 year olds" He said.
He had to look away, when he looked back his room was different, it was posters of scantily clad women, and a bookshelf full of textbooks that he now realised he could understand. He looked at the coin, except that it was now a smooth stone... How strange.
He thought about how life had changed. In this reality He had not got on with Karyn as a child and they used to fight as such they had developed the brother sister relationship her and Jon had... However Jon and Karyn were just as close and she used to treat Jon like her own baby brother when he was born and Karyn was five. Mickey remembered his mother had given 11 year old Karyn a job as a baby sitter when her parents divorced and she had been meeting Jon after school every day since he started junior school. She had also developed a crush on Mikey, or Mike as he was now knows, each time she came round to look after his little brother. Mike hadn't started anything yet, but he enjoyed the way she would stare at him gooey eyed while playing with Jon on her knee.
Jon was just talking to Karyn about the changes in her life and how they might fix her wish, when suddenly he was looking up at her... His room was different, all toys and posters of some cartoon he had never seen. "what the" he looked shocked. "I know, I don't know why I took you up to the big school after I picked you up, if I hadn't. I might not have seen Tiffany and made such a stupid wish, I blame Mike he knows I have had a crush on him for years and yet he never showed any interest in me... Maybe he will now I'm the school slut and not plain old Karyn" said Karyn. This didn't help Jons shock at all "Mike?" He said looking down at the coin "A coin?" He said confused.
"are you ok Jon? I know it must be a shock to you especially as you are so young, but I'm still your nerdy friend Karyn, even if I am not dressed like it, I am still the same Karyn that used to push you around in your pram and play Legos with you. You have always been my best friend and I could always tell you anything." She looked concerned for Jon and gave him a tickle.
"STOP it Karyn, I'm not a little kid" he shouted and she stopped giggling, "Tell me more about what we used to say to each other especially Mike" he said realising it was his brother. "yeah you know, I used to tell you about how I fancied your big brother and how I you were the only boy I could really talk to, and you'd tell me about how Zoe had been irritating you or stealing your toys... What's the matter?" She asked.
Before Jon could answer there was a knock on the door and Mike walked in, "Hey little brother, I've come to collect Karyn and tell you to get to bed, mums made up the guest room, you will have to chat to your friend tomorrow ok?" He was so happy with how Jon had turned out and how hot Karyn was, maybe tonight would be the night he lost his virginity. Karyn blushed looking at him "Thanks. Mike, ok Jon be a good boy and get to bed, we will continue our chat in the morning and get things sorted out" she smiled, kissed him on the forehand and left turning off the light and closing the door behind her. "what things? Everything ok Karyn?" Mike asked, "yeah it's nothing" she replied thinking how nice it was Mike was asking.
Jon lay down on his bed, realising he was not in pyjamas... What the heck happened, he hadn't made a wish and where was the rock... He looked down at the coin laying in an open box on the side it reflected the moonlight. He picked it up, maybe it would work the same?
Mikey shouted goodnight to his parents, then walked Karyn into the guest room, where Tommy was sat. "Hi Tom, didn't know you were here, are you staying?" Karyn said sitting on the bed, she hadn't noticed how attractive he was before, looking him the eyes turned her to jello, it was like looking at Mike... Was this the wish to be a slut in action? She wasn't sure, she just knew she could get lost in his eyes. Thinking about her slut transformation made her sad and she sat next to Tom and started crying. He hugged her and. Mike sat the other side and joined in.
"what's up Karyn, he said, we have known each other for years and. I know. I used to tease you but we are grown ups now and you can tell me anything you want." He said
"you wouldn't understand, it's so complicated." She sobbed.
He put a hand on her leg and gently rubbed it reassuringly, "I know that your dad left you and you have been in that Sweatshirt nearly every time I've seen you since, that your mum has to leave you and spend time with men she doesn't love to support you both, I know that your home life must be terrible and that it must sometimes all seem like its not the life you are supposed to have." Thanking the wish to know about this reality he knew about Karyns life better then he had as an 11 year old.
Maybe he does understand though Karyn, he was so nice, and so strong and he felt so nice touching her, she put her hand on his shoulder and kissed him on the cheek. Then turned to Tom "thank you too Tom, I don't know what I'd do without you guys and your mum and brother Mike, it's nice that we are finally talking, I though you hated me." She said, tears in her eyes.
"I never hated you Karyn, in fact I think I always liked you and just didn't know how to express my feelings." Tom said bringing a warm smile to Karyns face. He hugged her, and smiled to Tom sat behind Karyns back and gave him a thumbs up. Looks like this new reality was going to be a lot more fun then the old one.
