"Here I am!"
Caroline did a double take. This should've been a simple operation to have Carol's face match hers. Instead, the face she was staring out at looked closer to being her mother. Wrinkles were on full display, Carol looked older than she ever did. By no means what was specified.
"Uh..." the mother started, unsure where to begin here. Watching Carol step in front of her, she took a moment to catch her breath. "You look like my mother."
Carol froze, looking around for a mirror. When she eventually found one, time was taken to look her new face over. Once she had done so, her focus shifted back to Caroline.
"I can live with this." Carol answered and reached out to her 'daughter's' hand. Grabbing hold, they exited the plastic surgery place.
