When Jon opened the front door, he was surprised to see his grandfather.
"Grandpa?" Jon asked, staring.
"Jon. Is that you?" his grandfather asked. "My, my. You've grown, haven't you?"
Jon looked oddly at him. Was it just his imagination or did he look much younger than he remembered? Oh, he was still an old man, but he didn't seem quite as "elderly".
"How can you be here? You ... died," Jon said.
His grandfather looked startled. "I'm dead?"
"Aren't you?"
His grandfather peered around the neighborhood, then asked Jon "Can I come in?"
Jon was hesitant, but after a moment, he let him in. "How did you get here? Does it have something to do with the stone?"
His grandfather spun around. "How do you know about the stone?"
"You gave it to me. As part of my inheritance. Don't you remember?"
"Listen, Jon. I think I made a big mistake. I'm not supposed to be here. I ... I think I should go."
"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Jon asked. But before his grandfather could give an answer, he disappeared. "Grandpa?" Jon asked, looking around for him. But he was gone. Where did he go?
Jon ran up to his bedroom and grabbed the stone. "I wish to know where my grandfather just went." The stone glowed and Jon received his answer.
