Jon hated mornings. Even mornings where he had a wishing stone to wake up to were difficult. The light coming from the window was heavy on his eyes, and there was no denying what his alarm clock was screaming at him.
It was time to get up.
A yawn, then a stretch, then a scratch. His routine was simple, and he followed it perfectly. By the time he was on his feet and grabbing his post-shower clothes all the cobwebs were shaken from his head. A smile formed on his lips as he left his room and headed for the bathroom.
