Jon realized if magic is skewed to the feminine this imbalance could be dangerous. It may even grow, eventually destroying men thus reproduction, dooming the human race.
Jon knew he had to fight the imbalance, but how. Could wishing women to be men do it, or would using flawed magic be part of the problem.
