The light exploded out of the two artifacts, washing the area in bright blue light. And when the light was gone, so were the artifacts. They must have canceled each other out.
"Mikey! You just destroyed the stone!" Karyn yelled. "How am I gonna get Jon and Ms. Warren back to normal now?"
Mikey made no response. He was too shocked at the fact that he no longer had the magic ring.
