"What's Sarah McMillan like?" Karyn asked, thinking of the biggest bitch in the school. Was she different?
"She's the head cheerleader, and a grade-A bitch. She loves acting superior to everyone, and calling anyone who is different a freak. Personally, I think being like everyone else is boring."
Karyn didn't know why, but she found it comforting that Sarah, much as she hated her, was the same as she remembered. She exhaled.
"Now, her boyfriend Steve...he's a real piece of work," Mallory said.
Karyn slapped her hand against her head.
