Lisa pressed 'normal.' The remote flashed and then all went calm. When it was gone, she blinked her eyes and she wondered what she was doing here exactly.
In the room was the remote that she'd owned, the one that she'd built for herself with her intellect which could alter reality with it's unstoppable technological power.
She smiled, atleast it turned on! But as far as her invention went, it hadn't done anything in that moment since she'd pressed 'Normal', and without any
context there was nothing for said button to change. She looked around in the room where she kept all her inventions - any previous posters, toys, or items that
used to belong to Leonard had been removed. When she turned around to see her laptop, she wondered why it was left on some, odd visual game.
There were two twin girls inviting the player to continue - Monica and Monika, the two twin sisters of the game Doki Doki Literature club.
"Oh, I forgot I was playing this earlier. A game where you date two twins? That seems pretty fun, technically they're more like clones I think? But I haven't gotten that far yet. Darn spoilers."
She closed her laptop and went downstairs with the remote, where she picked up the wishing rock aswell. In the fridge were all the snacks she'd wished for to check out if the stone really worked.
And as far as she knew, the stone and remote did.
This was a marvelous step for science, she may as well earn the noble peace prize for inventing this award winning tech she reasoned,
with the power to manipulate quantum fields and change reality itself with it.
As she dragged herself off to the kitchen, even her knowledge was oblivious.
Once she'd hit 'normal', it'd only merely normalized the changes that Leonard and Monika had made. Effectively Leonard no longer existed, and Lisa had
been gifted the magical stone, and been responsible for invention the remote itself in this new reality. Monika's twin was renamed Monica and in every
copy of the game, this was naturally just the way it was designed, with her double accounted for.
Not a single soul remembered Leonard but everyone knew of Monica, the dating sim girl from Doki Doki Literature Club as Monika's other half.
Normalcy had been restored.
