Basexis was forced to try it several times. I just stepped over his tail each time. Even when he went faster, I could jump over the coils. It was after the 10th failed attempt to ensnare me that Zalyx said "It looks like that human is a slippery one." He was teasing the alpha. "Shut up, halfbreed!" the alpha snapped, glaring at him. Zalyz did seem to be cowed by the glare. He hissed as he recoiled. Sotaris rubbed his shoulders to calm him down. "It's okay. I am here." he cooed. "You're no better, beta." the omega said as he shrugged the red naga off of him. The distraction was not enough to catch me, but it was close. I had to do a dive roll. Now that I was a few feet away and on my knees, they looked at me. Basexis was getting frustrated. "Sotaris! Handle him!" he commanded. Sotaris looked surprised. "What do you want me to do?" he asked. "Kill him!" Basexis snapped. "Don't we need information from him?" Zalyx questioned. "If I have to tell you to be quiet one more time, omega...!" he hissed. Zalyx went quiet. Sotaris just slithered over to me. "You don't actually have to fight me." I said.
He stopped in confusion. It did not seem to have crossed his mind at all. "What? Are you scared human? You should be." he said with a puffed-out chest. He was trying to gain control of the situation. "If I can squeeze you until you give up, I win. If I can't in 10 minutes you can squeeze me in your coils." I proposed. He looked shocked and then at his companions. They did not know what was going on either. "You must be crazy. Just because you got to mate with a pair of nagas, does not make you one. You're going to die. In fact, if you can't make him give up, I'll squeeze you myself!" the alpha laughed. I nodded and he looked at me skeptically. "You can't squeeze me with those twigs you humans use to walk. What are you going to do?" I got behind him and hopped on his back. Sotaris was confused and let me do it. Big mistake. I locked my legs around him and put him in a sleeper hold. He now realized that I planned to choke him out. It was too late though. He thrashed and bashed around on the ground to get me off. I held on for my dear life. He was using up all his energy in a panic.
