Jon decided to call Karyn on her cell, "Listen, my Mom just dumped babysitting duty on me. She says I have to watch Sally, my 6 year old niece."
"Can't Zoe do it?"
"I already tried that, but Mom said I had to do it. I was thinking, since we were going to try out the stone anyway, I'll just use the stone to make Zoe babysit instead. Just so I'm not taking any chances, I'll make sure that either one of us can reverse any changes.
"Just be careful."
"Hey, I am being careful. That's why I have you on the phone to hear the wish. OK, here goes ... I wish that both Karyn and I are fully aware of any and all changes and either one of us may undo the effects of the following wish simply by saying Undo Jon's Thursday Wish."
"That sounds safe enough."
"Now for the money. I wish that Zoe would babysit Sally and I could go meet Karyn in the park."
"I don't think anything could go wrong with that," Karyn said. "So, did it it work? Is Zoe ... Jon ... Jon?" The phone was working, she could hear voices in the distance but she couldn't make out any words. Suddenly she heard loud steps echoing and then Zoe's voice say 'I wonder how that happened?' Before Karyn could respond, the phone disconnected.
"I guess I have to wait for Jon to show up", Karyn mumbled to herself. After an interminable half hour, Karyn spotted Zoe entering the park, holding little cousin Sally's hand but no Jon. Strangely, Zoe was shepherding more than just cousin Sally, she also had ... "Oh My G a w d !"
Karyn rush over to Zoe to make sure, but there was really little doubt.
