She wore a pair of jeans and a t-shirt...standard teenage attire. It was because of that that he didn't immediately recognize her. It was Zelda, Zoe's friend...or rather his friend. Had the same thing happened? Did he and Zoe have that much influence on people? Or was it the magic?
She smiled at him, and began talking about the new gaming rig she was building. He'd known she was into computers...but apparently being friends with him had changed the focus of her interest. He'd gotten the idea from watching her with Zoe that she was some sort of hacker.
In the front seat, Zoe tried to drown Zelda out with music. "Sorry about my brother and his geeky friends," she told Karyn.
Karyn shrugged. "We can ditch them at the mall," she suggested.
