Lucifer plucked the green ring from the box and grinned. The ring of Envy was known to make the wearer envious of the people around them, from lifestyle to appearance. Throughout history, it had caused many people to commit foul and insidious acts in attempts to gain that which others had.
He teleported into Jon's room and snuck the finger onto his hand. He grinned wider as he did so. "With this ring in play, I doubt he'll even last a day." he said as he returned to his lair, waiting for morning and Jon's awakening.
