"I wish that I would meet a genie." The stone glowed, causing Jon to close his eyes. When he opened them, he saw that he was no longer in his bedroom, but instead what looked like a bank vault. He walked around and saw stacks of treasures and ancient artifacts. Gold, silver, diamonds, rubies. It must have been millions of dollars worth of treasures. It seemed that Jon had come across someone's personal stash of ancient treasures.
But the reason he was there was to meet a genie. So he searched for the magic lamp that he knew from genie tales, like the story of Aladdin.
But, it seemed, that there was no lamp.
Jon searched the rest of the vault, until he came upon a safe. He wondered if maybe the lamp was in it. It would make sense. The capability of having three wishes was certainly more valuable than silver or gold.
"I wish this safe was open," Jon said, clutching his wishing stone.
The stone glowed and the safe door swung open. Inside was a magic lamp. After he pulled it out and rubbed it, a ghostly figure emerged from it. It didn't quite look like the genie from the movie Aladdin, but there were some similarities.
"WHO RUBBED THE SACRED LAMP?" a great booming voice said.
"I did," Jon said.
The genie looked down at him. "YOU SHALL HAVE THREE WISHES."
"Oh, I don't want any wishes. I just wanted to meet you."
"HUH?"
"I already have this," Jon said, showing the genie the stone. "I can make as many wishes as I want."
The genie peered closer. "THE LEGENDARY JEWEL OF CUSCO? HOW DID IT COME INTO YOUR POSSESSION?"
"Jewel of Cusco? Is that what it's called?"
As they were talking, the vault door began to open, and a man was coming inside.
