Jon tossed the stone up and down, thinking about what to wish for. Lying on his bed, he thought about all the things of fantasy that he could make real with the stone. Like genies, vampires, werewolves, elves, and other things like that.
"I wish werewolves were real," Jon said, waiting for the stone to glow. But it didn't. He scratched his head, thinking that maybe the stone was broken. But he figured that that couldn't be. "I wish to know why my last wish wasn't granted." In a flash, he knew. It was because werewolves already were real. This stunned him. But it also got him thinking about what other things were real that he always thought were fantasy.
"I wish to know which things that I think are fantasy are actually real." The stone glowed and Jon's eyes went wide, as he suddenly knew that several things (but not all) he thought were made-up or mythical were actually real.
Vampires were real. Elves were real. And also other things like merfolk, genies, werewolves, trolls, gnomes, fairies, dragons and dwarves. But apparently zombies weren't real, and oddly neither were leprechauns.
Obviously, after discovering that all of these fantastical creatures actually exist, one would want to meet them. So, Jon made a wish.
