"I wish that I would meet a mermaid." The stone glowed, causing Jon to close his eyes. When he opened them, he saw that he was no longer in his bedroom. In fact, he wasn't even inside. He was standing near a lake. When he looked around, he discovered that he knew where he was. This was Hunters Lake, just outside town. He could even see the highway in the distance, from where he was standing.
A splashing noise caught his attention, causing him to look back at the lake. It seemed that something was emerging from beneath the surface. But he already knew what it was. He wished to meet a mermaid, and now he was going to.
Jon was stunned. The mermaid was even more beautiful than he could ever have imagined. This was certainly no Disney character, although there were some similarities. Everything from her waist up was human, and everything from her waist down was a giant dark purple fin. And she wore no clothes, so her D-cup breasts were in full view.
When the mermaid girl saw Jon, she became frightened.
"Don't be scared," Jon said. "I'm not going to hurt you."
Then, suddenly, from behind him, he heard shouting.
"Son of a bitch, looky there!"
Jon turned around and saw three men running towards him. They all held rifles in their hands.
He turned back around and saw the mermaid girl diving back into the water.
"Wait!" Jon yelled. But she didn't wait, and in a few minutes Jon would see that she had good reason.
Those three guys were hunting her.
