"I wish everybody Except Karyn would treat me just like they treat Sarah McMillan," Jon said, glad he remembered to exclude Karyn.
As soon as he said it he realized it was a vague wish. He should have taken the time to think it through, work out the details. He had let his curiosity get the better of him, wondering what it would be like at school being treated like her.
But he had said "just like" Sarah. He wondered how literally the stone would take him, but after what happened that morning he figured anything was possible. He cursed his stupidity, but realized that, at least, he still had the stone. If it didn't work out, he'd find a way to reverse it. He took a deep breath and headed downstairs, wondering how his life might have changed.
