Jon didn't want his mom to know that he had left, so he had to climb back up the tree to get back to his bedroom. It was a little hard to climb, especially with his skirt and boots, but he did eventually make it.
Once he was back in his room, he checked to make sure the stone was still there. It was.
He sat down on his bed and looked around his room. He was starting to like his new lifestyle, and that scared him. It seemed like Trevor's personality was becoming more pronounced by the minute. Jon feared that by the next morning he wouldn't want to return to normal. And that scared him even more.
He got up and walked to his window, just in time to see Jay and his "new" jock friends walk by his house. Jon was suddenly hit with the same odd feeling he got when he bumped into Biff just minutes before. What was the chance that Jay Duncan would be walking past his house right at this moment?
Feeling as guilty about their swap as he was before with Biff, he wished himself outside and confronted them.
Jay saw him walk towards them and became a little agitated. "What do you want?" he asked.
"I'm the one that changed you," Jon said.
"What? How?"
"With this," Jon said, showing them the stone. "I can change reality with it." No need to tell them that it could grant wishes.
"Why are you telling us this?" Leonard asked.
"I feel guilty about it. I mean, you're stuck like this for the rest of your lives."
"Stuck?" Carl asked, looking down at his buff body. "As a jock?"
"Yeah. But it won't be that bad," Jon said. "At least you look good." Although, deep down, Jon was beginning to think that Goths looked better.
"I don't care what I look like," Carl said. "I just want my life back."
"There may be a way. There's another item that can reverse all this, but I don't have it. Not yet, anyway."
On the other side of the street, about a block down, was Tom Welles. In the distance, he saw Jay and his three friends talking with a boy dressed in all black, which could've been no one other than that freak boy Jon Gibson. It seemed like they were having an honest conversation with each other. They weren't fighting or anything. What were they up to?
After Jon made his peace, Jay and his friends left to go wherever they were headed. And about a minute later, before he had a chance to get back in his house, Jon was confronted by Tom Welles.
