After they walked into the school, they saw Allison run up to them.
"Oh, thank god, you're back to normal. Don't worry. Everyone knows that yesterday was a prank."
"Everyone?" Zoe asked.
"Well, yeah. You know how fast gossip travels around here."
Actually, Zoe didn't. As a Goth, she really didn't care about things like who was dating who. She was in her own world.
"Listen," Allison said, pulling Zoe away from her friends. "I think I should talk to you about ..."
While Zoe went off and talked with Allison, Athena was checking out the guys around her. When she spotted someone she liked, she felt her tongue lick her top lip, and walked over to him.
"What's she doing?" Zelda asked.
"I don't know. She's been acting strange ever since the grove."
"She's been acting strange? Take a look at yourself."
"Okay, I admit that I'm acting a little different. But it's still me, Zelda. Sabrina Johnson, remember? Just because I don't use the 'F' word anymore doesn't mean ..."
"Well, see. That's what I mean. You're afraid to even mention the word."
"To tell you the truth, Zelda, I'm scared. I always had my hate. And now it's gone. And I'm feeling all of these caring feelings that I've never felt before. I actually love my own parents." Then she smiled and put her hand on Zelda's shoulder. "And I love you."
Zelda pushed Athena's hand off her shoulder and nearly got angry. "Snap out of it."
Sabrina looked unsure of herself.
Just then, an overly-excited girl walked up to them.
"Hi, Sabrina. Hi, Zelda. Umm, can I ask you a few questions?"
"Well ..." Zelda began, meaning to say 'no', but the girl cut her off.
"Oh, good." She looked at Sabrina and said "Who do you think is hotter? Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise?"
Although Sabrina wasn't into popular culture, she did at least know who the girl was talking about. But she wasn't attracted to celebrities, so she had no idea which one to pick. So, she just chose Brad Pitt.
The girl giggled, then wrote something down on a notepad. Then she turned to Zelda. "Who's your favorite singer?"
Zelda was stumped. She only listened to trance and techno. Usually there were no singers, since it was all electronic music. But in this reality, she was supposed to be into pop music, meaning that she must have had a favorite singer. Since she wasn't into pop music, she had to think hard of a singer that she had heard of. And she ended up picking Britney Spears.
The girl giggled again, then said "Thanks." And then she ran off.
"Who was that?" Zelda asked, not knowing that it was Amy Crissman, one of the school newspaper reporters.
When Zelda and Sabrina returned their attention back to Athena, they saw her pulling a guy down the hallway with her. And she looked to be in quite a hurry.
"Where's she going?" Sabrina asked.
While Amy was interviewing Zelda and Sabrina, Stephanie met up with a boy she didn't know.
"Hi, Stephanie," the boy said. He looked quite average. So average that Stephanie figured that he wasn't her boyfriend, if she even had one.
"Uh, hi?"
"Here's your science paper. It's all done."
She looked down at the folder in his hand and took it from him. After opening it, she saw that it was just what he said. It was a science lab worksheet that was given to her on Monday. It wasn't due until the next Monday, and she thought she'd just do it on the weekend. She procrastinated a lot. But now, it seemed, she didn't have to do it at all.
"Thanks," she said.
The boy still stood there, like he was expecting something.
"Do you want something?" she asked.
"You promised me a kiss if I did your homework," the boy said.
She couldn't believe it. She had heard that Sarah and Jessica got other people to do homework or chores for them, in exchange for "favors". And now it was happening with her. Of course, there was nothing wrong with giving someone a little kiss. And not having to do her lab homework over the weekend would open up some of her free time.
She moved in close and kissed him for a few seconds, then moved back.
"That was nice and all. But ..."
"But what?"
"You promised me some tongue." He smiled.
You have got to be kidding me, she thought to herself. "Listen, I ..."
The boy grabbed the lab report folder from her, then said "No kiss, no homework."
She sighed, then against her better judgment she moved in and held his head as she gave him a deep long kiss, plunging her tongue into his mouth.
After it was done, the boy shook with pleasure. "Wow, that was certainly worth it." He gave her the folder back, then ran down the hall yelling "Stephanie Wright kissed me! Stephanie Wright kissed me!"
Suddenly, Stephanie felt embarrassed. But at least her science homework was done.
