As Zoe sat on the bench, she saw a girl with a pink T-shirt and pink denim miniskirt walking in her direction. When she got close enough, she saw that it was Sabrina.
"Hi, Zoe," she said, sounding more pleasant than usual.
"Did you pick that out?" Zoe asked, pointing at Sabrina's "LOVE" shirt.
"Yeah. Do you like it?"
Zoe looked at her oddly.
"What?"
"What's with you?" Zoe asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Your attitude. It's different. You're almost ... nice."
"No I'm not," she condescended.
"Yeah, you are. You're acting more like ... Amber."
"No way. I'm not. If I was, I would notice."
"Obviously not." Zoe paused for a moment, then said "How do you feel about other people?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you hate them?"
"Of course, I don't. I ..." Then her eyes went wide. "Oh my god, you're right. I am more like Amber." She sat down on a bench across from Zoe. "It's gone, Zoe. All of my anger towards the world is gone. It's like I'm someone else." She paused, then said "We have to find out who did this to us before there's no way back."
Zoe knew there was always a way to reverse things, when it came to magic. But that's not what Sabrina was talking about. She feared that she may not want things to return to normal, if they stayed as popular girls too long. And given the dream that Zoe had that morning, she couldn't agree with her more.
"Hey, girls," Stephanie said, walking towards them. She looked at Sabrina and said "Cute top."
Sabrina smiled and said "Thanks." Then her smile faltered as she realized that it was happening to her again. She just wasn't use to being nice and cheerful.
"Couldn't find anything other than pink, huh?" Zoe said to Stephanie, as she sat down on the bench next to her.
"What do you mean? I love pink."
"Huh?" both Zoe and Sabrina said in unison.
"Oh, yeah. I know I hated it before. But this morning, it all changed. Suddenly, I liked it. A lot."
"Don't you think that's strange?" Zoe asked.
"Of course, I do. And it's freaking me out. But at the same time it's not. I ... I guess I can't really explain it very well."
"No need," Sabrina said, sounding a little more like herself. "I know exactly how you feel."
"Here comes Zelda," Zoe said, looking at a girl dressed in a light blue T-shirt and a denim miniskirt walking towards them.
After she met up with them, she took a seat next to Sabrina and looked around at her friends. "Look at us. We're completely different. If I didn't know who you were, I'd think you were Sarah's friends."
"Not taking this so easily?" Stephanie asked.
"No, I'm not. Are you?"
Stephanie shrugged and said "Actually, I don't really mind it that much."
"Me neither," Sabrina said. It felt weird hearing those words come out of her mouth, since she was the one that was most opposed to all of this. But it was true. She really didn't mind looking like a human Barbie.
Zelda started to look at her friends as if they were strangers.
"Oh ... my ... gawd," Stephanie suddenly said, mimicking a ditzy teenager. They looked in the direction of where she was looking and saw Athena walking towards them. Zelda had just gotten done telling her friends that they looked completely different, but now she saw that it wasn't true. Athena was the one that looked completely different. Unlike usual, she looked incredibly hot. She had turned into a babe.
A tight pink T-shirt with a low neckline (giving a nice view of her cleavage), a very short white pleated miniskirt (similar to the one she wore the previous night), and a pair of white open toe 4-inch heels. Around her neck, she wore a necklace, which a metal strip pendant hung from, resting in the cleavage of her breasts. Then there was the pink make-up. As a Goth, Athena usually never wore make-up. But now there was so much make-up that she almost looked slutty.
As she walked into the grove, she said "Hi, girls," with a very sultry voice, completely unlike Athena.
Zoe stood up. "Athena? Are you okay?"
"Better than okay," she said, smiling. It was a sweet smile, but her eyes told a different story. They were powerful, focused. At first, Zoe mistook them for rage. But if she had known about Athena's new nymphomania condition, she would have realized that what she saw in Athena's eyes was actually lust.
Athena was horny. And it was something that she certainly wasn't used to.
"Come on, girls," Athena said. "Let's go."
The four girls looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders, then went with Athena into the school.
