Zoe walked down the sidewalk to school. She remembered that when she was at the mall the previous night, she was still trying to get used to walking in heels. But now it all felt natural. And she didn't stumble. Not once.
Someone honked a horn, breaking her out of her thoughts. She turned towards the road and saw a convertible. It was Biff Meadows.
"Hey, baby," he said. "You wanna lift?"
"Uh ... no, that's okay. I can walk."
"Are you sure? It's still another five minutes of walking. I could get you there faster."
He had a point, although she wasn't really in a big hurry. But she got in his car anyway, and he drove off.
"Glad to see that you're back to normal," he said, while driving. "For a while there I thought you had lost your mind. Next time, let me in on the dare ... okay?"
"Sure."
He drove onto another street and then into the high school parking lot. He stopped to drop her off at the entrance, but when she began to get out of the car, he stopped her.
"Forgetting something?" he asked.
She turned back in his direction, about to say the word 'what', only to get kissed by him. It was a deep and long kiss. And like the last time he kissed her, she enjoyed it. But unlike the last time, she started to have feelings for him. It kind of disgusted her, but it was true. She started to see him in a whole new light.
"See ya later," he said, after she got out. He revved his engine and took off, finding a place to park his car.
Watching him drive away, she got a dreamy look in her eyes that took some willpower to shake off. When her mind cleared, she headed towards the grove that Sarah and her friends always met at. Since Zoe and her friends were now switched with Sarah and her friends, she thought it was appropriate.
In the grove, there were park benches set up, and Zoe sat down in one of them, sitting back and crossing her legs. She even hiked up her skirt a bit, to show off more leg, although she didn't even realize she was doing it. And she waited for her friends to show up.
Sarah walked down the sidewalk to school. On her way, she noticed a few people looking at her, most of which were doing lawn work outside their houses. This annoyed her. So much so that she gave one of them the finger and asked "What the fuck are you looking at?" After she said it, she was stunned. Why was she getting so angry about people looking at her. She loved attention, she loved getting noticed. But now she was irritated by it. The contrast was so obvious that it was frightening. What was happening to her? It seemed like she was ...
From behind her, she heard Biff's car. That revving engine was hard to miss. She turned to look, but then became angry when she saw Zoe sitting in the passenger seat. Even in her current situation, she still had feelings for him.
She glared at Zoe as the car passed. "That little bitch." But then she thought, Wait a minute. He probably just offered her a ride. There's nothing really going on. And she made it clear that he wasn't even her type.
She had to get these new-founded emotions under control. She didn't want to have another emotional outburst.
When Sarah finally made it to the school, she ducked behind the treeline at the edge of the school grounds. Zoe told her that she and her friends usually met there, and since they were now switched, Sarah thought it would be a good meeting place for her and her friends.
She found a large log resting on the floor of the forest and sat on it. Then she waited for her friends.
