Stephanie woke up, at the sound of her alarm going off. She got out of bed and began to get ready for school.
It felt good having a shower. It woke her up. And when she got back to her room, she felt completely refreshed. She looked around her room, and smiled. It was so cute how everything was pink.
She suddenly stopped in her tracks, wondering why she just thought that. She hated pink. Well, she supposed the didn't hate pink, actually. She didn't prefer it. Well, that wasn't true either. She didn't mind it. She knew she definitely looked good in it, she knew that.
She stopped herself again. What the hell is wrong with me? she thought. She took a deep breath, then got dressed, wearing a tight hot pink T-shirt, a pink pleated miniskirt, and pink 3-inch heels. The night before she remembered feeling sick having to wear all this pink, but this morning she felt different. She actually liked wearing pink. So much so that it scared her.
Not thinking more about it, she grabbed her schoolbag and her pink purse, and left her bedroom.
On her way out of the house, her parents (who usually treated her like dirt) told her to have a nice day. It was a weird feeling to be loved by her parents, after not being loved for so long.
After Jessica woke up, she looked down at what she was wearing. A black T-shirt and black pajama bottoms with white skulls all over them. Unlike the previous night, though, she didn't feel disturbed by it. And suddenly, she felt turned on by all the suggestions of death that were displayed around her room. She even started to like the color black. A lot more than the color pink.
After taking a shower, she came back to her room and got dressed. A tight black T-shirt displaying the image of a skull and crossbones, a black leather miniskirt, ripped fishnet stockings, and black knee-high buckled boots with three-inch stacks. Around her neck she wore a spiked collar and a string necklace, from which hung a pendant shaped like a skull. She renewed her black make-up and smiled. She was amazed by how much she loved black now. So much so, that she felt a little disturbed by it. Wasn't it only half a day before when she hated it? What made her change her mind?
She shook herself out of her thoughts, then grabbed her schoolbag and left her house.
