Sabrina's eyes opened up and peered down at her nearly naked body. The previous night she went to bed in just her underwear, not liking her choices of bedtime outfits. She sat up and looked at the clock. Her alarm hadn't gone off yet. She woke up about fifteen minutes too early. She was gonna go back to sleep, but then decided not to. What was fifteen minutes of sleep worth to her? So, she turned her alarm off and got out of bed.

The limited daylight that came through her window lit up the room just enough to see. Sabrina went to her closet and grabbed a pink lacy nightgown and put it on. It was chilly, she was just trying to warm herself up.

Truth be told, though, she felt different. And it had nothing to do with the temperature in the room. She felt ... off. Out of it.

She shook off the odd feelings and started to get ready for school, first taking a shower and then getting dressed. She ended up wearing a tight pink T-shirt with the word "love" printed on the front in big white letters (the "O" in the word "love" was actually a heart), a pink denim miniskirt, and beige 3-inch heels. She stood in front of the mirror, looking at her reflection, with a dreamy smile on her face. And suddenly, as if a gunshot went off, Sabrina snapped out of it and wondered what the hell she was doing. As if waking from a dream, she realized what she was wearing. She remembered putting it on, actually choosing it from the closet. But she still couldn't believe she was wearing it. But then she thought, it wasn't so bad. It kind of made her look cute. And she looked good in pink.

She shook her head. Where were all these weird feelings coming from?

"Pull your fucking self together, Sabrina," she told her reflection. And she did.

Then she grabbed her school stuff and her purse and left for school. Her parents weren't around, so no one wished her a good day.

Amber Levine, one of the nicest, sweetest girls around. Joined the cheerleading squad in her freshmen year, just two years ago, and quickly became one of the most popular girls at school. She was charitable, sweet, loving, maybe a little naive, but she was the type of friend you wanted to have.

But that girl was now gone, replaced by an angry bitch that didn't give a damn about anyone.

Amber awoke, annoyed that she had to go to school. The first thing she did was light up a cigarette and breathed in the smoke. It felt good. She only had one left, though, so she'd have to go out that day and buy a new pack.

She was thinking about just skipping school. She never thought of doing that before, but suddenly it sounded like a good idea.

But she got ready anyway. Taking a shower, then getting dressed. A black leather corset, a black leather miniskirt, fishnet stockings, and black knee-high buckled boots with three-inch stacks. It was nearly the same thing she wore the previous night, except that the corset looked a little different, a little more slutty. She put on black lipstick and black eyeliner. Then she threw a wicked smile at her reflection. Something was missing, though. She grabbed a spiked collar and put it on, then grabbed black leather armbands and put them on too.

"Fucking cool," she said out loud, not even flinching at her own profanity.

She grabbed her stuff and left her bedroom. As she walked to the front door, her father yelled at her "Don't you be going out with your friends today, bitch!"

Amber turned around and yelled "I can do whatever the fuck I want, you fucking asshole!" Then she opened the door and slammed it behind her.

On the porch, she stopped. Did she just say what she thought she said? What was happening to her? She wasn't mean. She wasn't a bitch.

But she was starting to feel like one.
