After getting ready, I left for school. Everything seemed as normal as ever, as if this were all really happening. But I knew better.
"Hey, Jen," Karyn said, joining me on my way to school.
It was so weird to be a girl. "Hi, Karyn."
"Psst. Jon," someone whispered.
"Did you hear something?" I asked.
"No," Karyn answered me.
"Over here," the voice whispered again.
I turned my head and saw a 7-year-old Brazilian boy standing behind a row of bushes. It was the same boy that was now my grandfather.
"Grandpa?" I asked.
"Who are you talking to?" Karyn asked.
"She can't see me, Jon. Only you can," the boy said.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
