After he climbed out the window, Jon smirked to himself. "Fucking mom didn't even notice I left."

"You shouldn't talk that way about your mother, young man," an elderly woman said, from behind him.

He turned around. It was Mrs. Wilson, his next door neighbor. As she approached him, he felt himself change again.

"Jon! What are you doing out here?" she suddenly asked. "You know how much it hurts when you walk. Come on, let's get you back inside."

What was she talking about?

She grabbed his arm and pulled him with her. As they walked, Jon felt excruciating pain with each step. What happened to him? What had he become?

It seemed like forever, but eventually they made it to the house. As they slowly walked inside, Jon caught a glimpse of himself in a hallway mirror. He was no longer Goth, but he was old. Very old. That was why it was so painful to walk around. Jon had become an elderly man!

Mrs. Wilson helped him sit down in an armchair and then she turned on the TV.

For the next hour and a half, Jon was unable to move from that spot. But not because he didn't have a desire to or that he couldn't move, but because it hurt too much. So there he was, being forced to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune against his will. He didn't even have a remote control so that he could change the channel.

Was there no way out of this?
