Jon opened his door, seeing that the storage room was gone, replaced with a Goth boy's room. His room, in this reality. It seemed very similar to Zoe's, but there were some differences that made it obvious that it was a boy's room.
After taking a minute to look around his room, he searched for the stone. But after looking for at least five minutes, he found nothing. He began to think that maybe his grandfather hadn't given him the stone in this reality. But, he supposed, that wasn't too hard to believe. Zoe hadn't really gotten along with him very well, maybe Jon didn't either. He had to become his original self. Just being sixteen wasn't good enough.
There was only one person that he could think of that could return him to normal, or at least as much normal as possible, and that was Karyn.
He decided to call her on his cellphone.
"Hello? Who is this?" she asked on the other end.
"This is Jon Gibson."
"How did you get this number, you freak?"
Jon was about to say something, but Karyn broke the connection before he could.
"Fuck," Jon said aloud. He'd have to go see her. And that meant sneaking out of the house.
He walked downstairs and towards the bathroom. When it appeared that no one was looking in his direction, he sprinted into the study, which was across the hall. Then he climbed out the window.
He smirked to himself. "Fucking mom didn't even notice I left."
