After leaving his bedroom, Jon headed down the hall. But he stopped when he began to feel ... strange. His sister Zoe opened her door, letting her loud metal music escape into the hall. Usually she gave him an annoyed look and a grunt, but this time was different. She smiled. She actually smiled at him. And when he looked down at himself, he realized why. He was wearing a fishnet shirt, a black ripped skirt, and black leather boots. The fingernails on his pale hands were painted black. He really didn't want to know what the rest of him looked like.
"Hi, Jon," Zoe said.
"Uh, hi?"
"Did you still want to go to that concert?"
Jon had no idea what she was talking about, but he played along. "Yeah, of course."
She smiled. "Good." Then she went back into her room and closed the door, leaving Jon once again alone in the hall.
