Jon could still feel his heart thumping slightly as he stepped into the shower, although he couldn’t tell if it was from them organs, or panic from almost being caught. He quickly walked himself down, being extra careful not to touch his nether regions too much, and before long he was stepping out and drying himself off. He wrapped his towel around his waist and made his way back to his room. As he passed by Zoe’s room, he could have sworn he heard muffled moaning sounds coming from inside, but brushed it off as her and Athena doing one of their spells. He entered his room and found Karyn dressed already, and scrolling on her phone.
“Your mom came in just before and said dinners nearly ready. She also left you those” she said, indicating another pair of panties sitting on his bed. This pair was a powder blue colour, and had a small lace trim around the leg holes. Jon sighed and moved to take his towel off.
“Woah Jon-boy, do you want me to leave while you do that?” Karyn asked. Jon thought for a minute before shrugging.
“It’s up to you, it’s nothing you haven’t seen already. I’m comfortable with it” he said. Karyn looked down at the floor for a second, and then returned to scrolling.
“Yeah I guess” she mumbled. Jon quickly dressed and they headed down for dinner. They entered the kitchen to find Jon’s parents, along with Mikey already at the table. Not long after they were joined by a rather disheveled looking Athena and Zoe. When everyone was seated, Laura started dishing up the food, and they ate in relative silence.
When dinner was over, Jon’s dad cleared his throat.
“Well, it’s been a hell of a day, but I’ve got some good news. The rec-room downstairs is pretty much finished, just one more coat of paint tonight and it’ll be good to go tomorrow.” He said with a smiled.
“That’s great dad” Mikey cheered.
“That’s not all, we had some money left in the budget, so your mother and I have one last surprise that’s arriving tomorrow” he said mysteriously.
“What is it?!?” Mikey said excitedly.
“You’ll have to wait kiddo” his mom said, “your dad will have it ready to use by the weekend”
“I can’t wait that long!” Mikey pouted.
“It’s literally Friday tomorrow!” Zoe sighed as she and Athena both stood up.
“Thank you for the meal mrs Gibson, but I need to head home now” she said as she made her way to the front door. Once Athena left, and Jon, Karyn, Zoe, and Mikey returned to their rooms, leaving his parents to clear up.
“I’m just going to head downstairs and finish the last bit of painting.” Simon said with a stretch. Laura nodded with a smile.
“Don’t be too long, there’s something I want to talk to you about” she said.
“Sounds serious” Simon laughed, “shouldn’t be more than 20 minutes” he added as he kissed her on the cheek. He was true to his word, and was back upstairs within half an hour. Laura was leaning against the kitchen counter waiting for him.
“So what did you want to talk about?” He asked.
