(Author's Note: Realized I mixed it up in the other branch. I was thinking that Megan had taken Scott's interests. So, that branch will stand with that assumption. This one will follow the other continuity.)
Scott, still stunned, backed out of the room and closed the door. He still wanted someone to play with. Who he really wanted was Alexis. But where was she?
He headed out of the room and started looking around, trying to find her. He found her putting away neatly folded laundry in his bedroom.
"What is it, Dad?" She asked.
"Do you want to play dollies with me?" He asked. "I asked your mother, and she wasn't interested."
"Dollies?" Alexis said, a bit surprised. "I'm...kind of busy right now. Maybe when I'm done. But isn't that sort of Megan's thing? How about you ask her?"
He nodded. "But you'll play later, right?"
"I won't forget. Cross my heart," Alexis said.
Scott wandered out of the room.
Alexis paused after he left, looking in the mirror. "This outfit is a mess," she said. "Good thing I just did the wash," she said, reaching for a freshly laundered outfit, a rather mature looking blouse and skirt. "Let me change and put these things in the next load."
Scott headed downstairs, looking for Megan. He spotted Cody on the couch watching baseball. That was a bit odd. He didn't think Cody liked baseball.
"Cody, have you seen Megan?" He asked.
Cody turned. "Hey, Dad. You want to watch the game with me?"
