"Wait right here while mommy gets some coffee, sweetie," an obviously less-than-parental mother said, leaving her youngest child and only daughter Tiffany at a table alone and going to wait in line.
"Oh, okay, Mom," Tiffany said, sighing. The room was full of strangers and dangerous adults. Could she really be safe? Without so much as verbalizing it, her fears crept up to her, and she hid under the table.
To her fortune, or others' misfortune, some sort of gizmo had slid over right to her.
"W-whaa, what's dis?" she asked aloud, turning one of the knobs.
But which knob was it? The one for mental changes, physical changes, or reality changes? And who was the device pointed at when Tiffany turned the knob?
