John decided to use the Reality Tuner in the coffee shop. Once inside, he looked around and settled on using his device on a nerdy-looking guy getting picked on by a couple of frat guys. He moved towards their table, lifting the device to use it, when suddenly someone bumped into him, causing him to drop the device on the floor. It skidded across the room and under one of the other tables.
"Crap," he muttered. "I have to find it before someone else picks it up and uses it. Without knowing what it is, someone might change all of reality and I wouldn't even notice it."
So with that, he headed to where he thought it was and began to search for it.
