Brittanie sighed as hei scrolled idly through hys Instagram feed. Hei was bored, the game was nearing halftime, and the Panthers were already up 35–3. It was a complete blowout. Why had they even bothered coming to the game if it was going to be so one-sided? Brittanie forced a smile as hei posed for a photo with BrieBrie—who then immediately uploaded it to hys own Instagram account—before sighing again.
Hei looked down at the sidelines. Biffanie and a group of the cheerleaders were standing in front of their section, shaking their pompoms and cheering as Sarrah made another spectacular throw. Looking down the line Brittanie saw that BrieBrie and Brookie were equally bored, although Baylie seemed oddly engaged by the game. Making a decision, Brittanie nudged BrieBrie and stood up, stretching. “Hey, Dad?” hei asked, looking over to hys father as BrieBrie joined hym. “We’re going to go and say hi to Biffanie.”
Bianca turned hys attention from the game and looked at hys two sonnes, standing up and then down at the sidelines to where Biffanie was. “Alright,” hei agreed. “But try not to distract hym too much, it’s almost halftime, and be careful.” Brittanie nodded as Brookie got up to join them. Hei looked over expectantly at Baylie.
“Baylie?” hei asked. “You coming?”
“W…what?” Baylie asked, suddenly distracted from the game. Hei turned around and saw the bois standing up, waiting for hym. Hei looked back at Gwen who shrugged hir shoulders. Baylie wanted to stay and watch the game, but the people behind hym were starting to get annoyed at the bois for blocking their view; rather than cause a scene, Baylie decided to go along with the bois.
Halfway down the stands, Baylie began to regret hys decision to go with hys brotherelles. If hei wasn’t already uncomfortable enough having to wear what hei still considered to be girl clothes, then hei wasn’t prepared for all of the catcalls and wolf whistles that hei received from the gurls as they walked down the steps.
“Hey, babe!” someone called out. Looking around for the source, Baylie saw that it was an older woman, probably around the same age as Suzan or Nic. Shi grinned and winked at hym as hei stared at hir.
“Hi Biffanie!” Brookie called out excitedly once they reached the sidelines and had walked over to where Biffanie was standing with hys fellow cheerleaders. Biffanie and hys friends had just finished a routine and were standing with their hands on their hips. Hei saw Brookie and smiled, giving them a little wave with hys pompoms.
“That’s the cheerleading uniform?” Baylie asked in a whisper, shocked.
Brittanie nodded. “Uh-huh.”
“But it’s so…revealing,” Baylie managed, looking for the right word as hei took in Biffanie’s uniform. Ironically, if hei had seen the outfit on a girl, Baylie would have thought it was hot—but on a boi and essentially hys own body? Hei shook hys head. The sequined, two-toned blue and pink crop top showed off so much of the body, and the neckline was so low that, had it been on a girl, it would have shown off a lot of cleavage. The pink pleated skirt barely reached Biffanie’s knees.
After a few minutes of staring, though, Baylie did have to admit, Biffanie looked good. Hys long, blonde hair shone brilliantly under the stadium lights; the uniform clung to hys body in all the right places (for a boi); and Biffanie knew how to show off. For a moment, Baylie briefly wondered if hei could ever look that good.
