The car pulled into the parking area. It was a beautiful spring afternoon.
Justin got out of the car. It was a series of cabins in the woods, as well as a main building. It was older, but looked well maintained.
Within sight of the cabins was a pristine lake.
"I used to come here as a boy," his grandfather said. "And I took your dad here when he was a kid. Some of my old buddies are coming and they are bringing their grandsons too. It's going to be a great weekend," he said.
Justin rolled his eyes somewhat dismissively. He was fifteen...he did that a lot.
It wasn't until he entered the main lodge building that any hopes of hanging around with people his own age fell apart. He was the oldest, from what he could see. Two of the boys looked to be maybe twelve, and the youngest was probably ten.
Great, he thought to himself. Now I have to babysit on top of everything while Grampa hangs out with his old friends.
He was introduced to the other boys...Nicholas, Alexander, and Jordan...as well as their grandfathers.
Justin sighed. At least it was only a weekend.
