(Author's Note: Wanted to do a little combination here of other plotlines )
Linda Madison tried her best to make time for her three kids. Her job as a paralegal and assistant to a named partner at a downtown law firm was unpredictable...sometimes she'd have to work late, but often she could be home to make dinner for the family.
She pulled into the parking lot, hoping Jon and Karyn hadn't started walking home or gotten on the bus yet so she could surprise them. Mikey was going to a friend's house after school today, and she'd pick him up later. She parked the car and sent a text to let them know she was there. With a few minutes until they'd make it to her car Linda fiddled with her phone, not noticing as her radio's clock ticked to 3:47 PM.
In milliseconds of a second, things began to change for her. The mature mother of three began to vanish, replaced by a version of her that hadn't been seen in decades...a teenager. But, that was not the end of it, as her features began to shift subtly. Her hair remained brunette, but her figure began to expand, as she inherited a much more endowed parent's cup size. Linda had never been an athlete in high school, but this version looked increasingly fit, and would attract a lot of attention. But not in Linda Madison's dress....which shifted into a cheerleading uniform. She also wasn't in a car any longer...but was instead, heading down the hallway toward the gym.
She paused for a moment, as if she'd lost something, but continued. She was on her way to cheer practice and it wouldn't be right for the head cheerleader to be late. She looked down at her ripe, full breasts and smiled. She knew the boys on the football team would be practicing nearby...and she wasn't against putting on a show for them, even Biff. The Football Captain thought because she was the Head Cheerleader, they were supposed to be a couple. Biff was cute and all, but she wasn't interested in him.
Meanwhile, back at the car...another driver took the wheel, and she couldn't complain too much. Her blonde hair was short and professional, as was expected of a career woman. Her makeup was expertly applied, crow's feet and laugh lines hardly noticeable. Sarah Madison closed the visor where she'd been checking her makeup and peered out of the car, looking for her kids.
Inside, Jon tried to figure out what to respond to this stranger he didn't recognize at all, when he saw a text from his mother that she was waiting for him and his sister outside. "Mom's here."
"Do you think something is wrong?" The girl asked.
"I hope not...we'd better go find out," he said. Hopefully his mother would use her name, giving him some sort of clue.
