At least Dr. Gilmore had given David's family their hairstyles back. He wished he could say the same about everything else. As he came to the breakfast table, he tried not to stare awkwardly at the bodies his mom, dad, and brother now possessed.
From the neck down, each of them had the body of a beautiful, mature woman. Somewhere around middle age, David figured, but with enough work done to hide the flaws. His mother was wrapped in a slinky satin bathrobe that barely covered her ass while she sat. His dad wore a grey pencil skirt and a lavender blouse that hugged his curves. On his feet were a pair of expensive looking stilettos. His brother Andy wore a flirty tennis outfit. They were all poking at fruit salad and sipping mimosas.
"Morning sport!" his father greeted in a way that didn't quite match his new body and mannerisms.
"You almost missed brunch." his brother said.
"Sorry," David mumbled.
"It's alright," his mother said, "Just don't make a habit of it. The first meal is the most important one."
Well, at least there personalities seemed normal.
"So I heard Janice is going to the gala tonight," Denise said to the rest of the table.
"What a cow," his dad scoffed, "After the scene she caused last time. She spilled wine all over my dress! I can't believe Jeff had the gall to invite her back."
"Now, now, darling," Andy interjected, "It's Jeff's gala. She can invite who she wants. Even if Janice is a royal bitch." David's family giggled at Andy's cattiness.
"I suppose it is for charity. As long as her table is far, far away." Steve took another dainty sip from his mimosa.
Andy looked at David. "Say bro, could you be a dear and give me a lift to my tennis match? My BMW is in the shop and Ben would never let me hear the end of it if I cancelled on her again."
"Oh, and while you're out could you pick up my dress from the cleaners?" his father asked.
"Sure," David said, feeling defeated. He knew he was powerless here.
"Such a sweet young man," his mother said. "How are you still single?"
"It's really unbelievable. You know, there's so many women in this town who'd just love to settle down with a man like you," Andy interjected suggestively.
"You should come to the gala tonight!" Steve suggested. "Maybe you could meet someone there."
"Except Janice!" Denise added.
"Definitely NOT Janice!" Andy said. The three of them laughed and continued on with their gossip. David could only watch in awe at the Real Housewives nightmare he appeared to now be trapped in.
