As Laura headed out of the church, she spotted Grace Littleton, a 56-year old woman who was a long attendee of this church, walking towards her.
"Grace? Are you okay?" Laura asked, noticing that she was crying.
"I just need to see Pastor White as soon as possible."
"Well, he's right inside."
Grace nodded, then headed in.
Moments later, Laura was in her car and on her way home. She still didn't understand why Margaret wanted her to leave. As far as she knew, she didn't do anything wrong. But regardless, Margaret seemed pretty upset.
David quickly walked into his office and opened his safe. Then he pulled out the box containing the dildo and put it on his desk. He needed to think of a way to destroy it. He looked around his office, thinking of something to use, then it occurred to him. Why not just burn it? He could light it on fire using a match. He kept some in his desk in case he had to use candles.
He pulled open the desk drawer and took out a match, then he lit it and opened the box containing the dildo.
It was at that moment, however, that he had an inconvenient and unexpected guest, in the form of Grace Littleton. She was clearly upset about something, as he saw tears rolling down her face, but when she saw what was on his desk and what he was doing, she stopped dead in her tracks.
"What in heaven's name is going on here?" she asked.
