Karyn stood in front of the McMillain house and sighed. She was tasked with doing yard work for the family until the window she had broken thanks to an errant baseball was paid off.
Walking inside, she saw Susan eating alot of food.
"Mrs. Mcmillan?"
"Mmmmf...huh? Oh...mmmm...Karyn! You can start your work in a little bit but first you've got to try some of these health bars!" Susan then held out
Karyn blinked a bit at the offer. Mrs. Mcmillan, while not as cruel as Sarah, was still kind of snooty to Karyn so the offer of the health bars was kind of suspicious. But Karyn was kind of hungry so she accepted the offer, taking three health bars to munch on while doing her yard work.
After that, Karyn walked outside and started her work, taking a bite of one of the bars. Her eyes lit up at the taste and then she shoved the whole first bar in her mouth.
Then she opened the next one and ate it. Then the last one.
"Mmmmm...those weren't bad!"
Karyn walked back inside, deciding to take care of the yard work in a little bit. Her stomach was rumbling and she was suddenly starving! Mrs. Mcmillan was still eating when she came back in.
"Hey Karyn. Hungry?"
As if on cue, Karyn's stomach rumbled loudly and she nodded. Patting the empty seat next to her, Susan waited until Karyn sat down and then handed her more of those bars, along with some food. That done, Susan returned to her own bowl of pasta.
Karyn, needing no further invitation, dug in.
As they ate, the stranger watched from outside. Karyn had been an unexpected entrant into these events but it was far too late now. If she ate even one more of the bars she would be doomed to a life of gluttony. And as the figure watched on, Karyn did indeed take on more bar and bite into it, sealing her fate as her body started to expand, joining the ballooning flesh of Susan Mcmillan as the pair continued to eat as Sarah pulled into the driveway.
