What was inside the box puzzled Susan. It was a bunch of "health bars". She did enjoy eating these things, although she had never seen these particular ones before. But it seemed like a strange thing to give as a gift. Surely, the amount of health bars in this box didn't amount to much money at all. She could easily just buy them herself.
But then she shrugged. So she had a few more health bars, so what? She picked one up, then unwrapped it. It looked just like the other bars she usually ate, except that the color seemed a bit off. But that was probably because it was a different brand. Shrugging again, she took a bite.
"Not bad," she muttered.
Then she took another bite, then another, and then another. And before she knew it, she had eaten the whole bar. Usually, she took her time. But for some reason, she felt more ravenous with every new bite. She actually felt hungrier now after eating the bar than before she started to eat it.
She looked down at the other bars in the box and wondered if she should eat another one.
Unknown to Susan, the "health bars" were having an unusual effect on her. The more she ate them, the hungrier she got. And if she ate too many of them, she wouldn't be able to stop herself from eating all the food in sight. She wouldn't even care about her figure. All she'd care about was stuffing her face with more delicious food, regardless of what it might do to her body.
And this sort of thing would happen to anyone else who ate the bars as well.
Standing just outside the living room window was the man in black. Once again, he could see his victim, but his victim couldn't see him. He smiled, as he watched Susan eat the first health bar (or should he say unhealth bar). Soon, if everything went to plan this time, Susan McMillan would be a fat slob. It was such a fitting punishment for the middle-aged beauty.
